The work listed is bread-and-butter gas-side plumbing: piping, boilers and water heaters, septic systems and fire sprinklers. BuildZoom shows no customer reviews for him, so there is nothing written yet about how those jobs went. Licensing is the thing to settle before calling. His BuildZoom page carries the site's own alert that there is no active licence on file, lists a Massachusetts plumbing licence (#26082) that BuildZoom last verified as expiring in May 2012, and shows two City of Newton records under the same number as cancelled. None of that is a state-registry check in either direction. If you want a plumber around Natick with a long permit history behind him, he's a reasonable call — after you ask him for a current licence number and confirm it with the Massachusetts board yourself.
