A roofer that will actually come out for a repair — that is the thing customers keep circling back to. "I was very happy that they had a roof repair division," one homeowner wrote in 2018, "it's so hard to find a roofer that will do a repair." Seven years later the pattern held: in June 2025 a customer described Matt arriving early, diagnosing the roof problem and fixing it the same day. Fraser Construction works out of 31 Bowdoin Road in Mashpee. The Better Business Bureau puts its start at 1982 and lists it as a 22-employee corporation with Cory Varao as president; BuildZoom names Varao and Dean Fraser as owners. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 194747, is active. BuildZoom's permit records carry 1,238 permitted projects, roughly 98 of them in the last three years, at a typical permit value near $17,475 — mostly roofing, with siding, window and deck work alongside it. The reviews line up across platforms: 4.9 from 41 ratings on HomeAdvisor, 4.9 from 21 on Porch, and an A+ at the BBB, which accredited the company in May 2025. Two themes repeat — speed and cleanup. A homeowner writing in March 2021 put the gap from estimate to finished job at less than a week, had the crew in and out in four and a half hours, and noted two of them walking the yard with a magnet for stray nails because of the dog. A 2024 reviewer had them swap french doors for a slider, which meant reframing the opening and redoing shingles and soffit. A commenter on r/CapeCod in January 2025 pointed someone toward the company, saying it works from Provincetown to Plymouth. Two things to pin down. A reviewer in 2018 noted the company asks for a third of the price before work starts — worth confirming what that deposit covers on your own job. And the detailed written accounts skew older: most of what people wrote sits between 2018 and 2021, with the newest single review from June 2025, so ask for a couple of recent local references rather than leaning on the older thread. For a Cape Cod roof — a repair as readily as a full strip-and-reroof — this is a straightforward call, with an active state registration and a long permit history behind it. Settle the deposit terms and the material warranty before signing.

Matt arrived early and quickly diagnosed my roof issue. He was also able to fix it the same day. I would definitely recommend Fraser for additional work.
I would highly recommend them. I used them before to replace a skylight and was impressed. This project they removed french doors and replaced with a sliding glass door. They did a fantastic job which required redoing the opening, shingles, and soffit. They arrived on time each day and had others stopping by to check progress, remove debris, etc.
Showed up on time and completed the job quickly.
They responded immediately to our request, and quickly fixed our roof -- which was exactly what we needed. Thank you for listing them on your site!
Outstanding !! Arrived on time as promised and finished before noon-professional, in every way, superb work in every aspect of the job, including cleaning the worksite. Highly recommended.
