Fred's Propane & Heating Oil is a fuel dealer whose recent Google customer calls it a reliable fuel oil source. That customer says the company also cleaned and repaired their furnace and has the staff to replace their gas hot water heater, work they found near impossible to get anyone else to do. A 2024 customer said the circulator pump on their radiant heat system broke, leaving the first floor without heat, and Mike C came and fixed it once a new part came in. That 2024 customer said they also came up the driveway with no problem to deliver propane. A 2022 customer said oil refills were scheduled for the spring without issue. That 2022 customer said a preventative boiler cleaning was booked a month out and turned into a repair bill. When the boiler kept tripping afterward, that 2022 customer said Chad was sent shortly after the call and swapped out a nozzle that was not the correct size, covered by Fred's warranty. A 2025 customer described a quick and efficient installation. A 2025 customer called the employees who answer the phone rude and said they would never use the company as their fuel dealer.
Fred's has been a reliable fuel oil source, cleaned & repaired my furnace, and has the staff to replace my ancient gas hot water heater. It was near impossible to find anyone else to do the latter 2. Thanks.

Fred’s suck they say they are for the customer but they are not and they have rude employees who answer the phone . We will never use this company as our fuel dealer
I will give Fred’s 5 stars for this time. My circulator pump broke on my radiant heat system on the first floor of my house. No heat there. Mike C came and fixed it. Of course they had to order a new part. I also needed propane and was worried after this current rain that they would not make it up the driveway. After a few days the part came in and the system was fixed. They also came up driveway no problem to deliver the propane. I like Fred’s a lot.
With a fun driveway we manually schedule oil refills during the spring without issue. I scheduled a preventative cleaning of our boiler that has worked flawlessly. They were pretty booked and put me a month out. It hadn't been touched in a while and a simple cleaning turned into a $700 repair bill. It kept tripping after and they sent Chad shortly after I called. swapped out a nozzle that wasn't the correct size and was covered by Fred's warranty. It's been working flawlessly again since. Don't skip your maintenance..
