Jenny Macdonald and Mike Lemieux left Financial District jobs to restore antique houses — CBS reported the move in February 2020 — and built a Plympton design-and-build firm around it. She designs the interiors; he is the general contractor, and his Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, 205464, is active. The houses they take on are old and often in trouble. A February 2022 Plympton-Halifax Express story counted eight Plympton homes refurbished by then, the oldest built in 1707, and a December 2021 South Shore Home Life & Style piece described the pair saving historic South Shore houses from demolition. In December 2024 the Plympton-Halifax Express reported them seeing the potential in a project and hiring Gordon Building Movers; in September 2025, turnto10 quoted Lemieux saying the people who had bought a house reached out to him and his wife for a full restoration of it. The restorations run on television too — the couple star in the HGTV series Houses With History, and Cape News reported in December 2024 on a property they purchased in 2022 and restored for the show. A 2023 fun107 piece has a homeowner putting the appeal plainly: they weren't excited about going on the TV show, but they wanted to work with Full Circle Homes. Town permits pulled between 2023 and 2025 put them in Falmouth, Hingham, Marshfield, North Attleboro, Harwich, Milton, Norwell and Pembroke — nine residential jobs, typically around $30,000 of permitted value, the largest $117,500. Their Houzz page describes typical jobs at $50,000 to $1 million, a very different size of project, so settle early which one yours is. Two housekeeping items before you sign. The business trades under more than one name — Houzz files it as Full Circle Construction LLC, while the About copy on that page says Full Circle Homes LLC — so check that the contract, the registration and the company you think you are hiring all match. The phone numbers differ too: BuildZoom lists (781) 424-7459, and the company's own site publishes 209-284-4916. For a 1700s or 1800s house on the South Shore or the Cape that you want restored rather than gutted, this is squarely their work. Ask to walk one or two finished restorations, and confirm which entity and which registration number go on the contract.
