We recently had Gagnon Heating install a Tempstar Heat Pump. Jeff Gagnon came to our home and sized the job and was spot on. He was a pleasure to deal with throughout the process, from start to finish. All of Gagnon's techs; Jake, Jacob, Nick, Tony, were all highly knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Gagnon Heating and Cooling did a whole home heating system for our new construction project in New Hampshire. This is the first time we have lived in an all-electric home, and we are super happy with the decision! They were extremely professional, knowledgeable about the equipment, and they have been very responsive when the system has needed slight adjustment after installation. We are two years in, and our average electric bill for the home is $600 a month, including heating and AC and all other electricity use (electricity is the only utility bill we have), so we think this is pretty affordable overall for a large home in a cold region. Highly recommend choosing heat pumps and working with Gagnon to get it done!

Gagnon Heating and Air Conditioning responded immediately to my radiant floor heat emergency with compassion and total understanding. We were in the “11th hour” of our home sale closing window and they adjusted their busy schedule to respond to our home on the same day. Not only did Peter fix the complex circulator problem but also explained the inner workings of the system like a true experienced professional and cleaned up like he was never there. The office staff was just as understanding as Peter and went above and beyond normal operating expectations to the very end. I HIGHLY recommend Gagnon Heating and A/C for anyone looking for 100 % satisfaction and complete peace of mind with true professionals. I will call on them again at our new home.

Outstanding service on heat pumps. Pete did a great job on the regular maintenance, and on diagnosing a problem with one unit that had been giving us trouble. Explained everything simply and showed us the details of the issues and the ways to address them. Also worked quickly and very clean on the inside of the house. Fast response from the Service team in the office and very reasonable rates.

Wouldn’t recommend using Gagnon. One of the selling points from Gagnon Heating and Air Conditioning was “that we handle all the paperwork”. When the rebate paperwork wasn’t submitted on time, Jeff gave ever excuses why he wasn’t liable. From we mailed you the paperwork, which he couldn’t verify, to that they couldn’t be held countable for a policy change by Efficiency Maine. Come to find out the policy change happened months prior to contacting Gagnon. Not a person who can be trusted for his word.
