Garbage Gone

An attic emptied, a parents' basement and garage cleared, and rubbish collected after another company left it behind: recent Garbage Gone customers describe both one-off cleanouts and regular trash service. The business says it is a family-run Cape Cod rubbish-removal company founded in 2007, offering weekly and seasonal curbside collection, dumpsters, home cleanouts, dump runs and appliance removal. Its stated service area includes Hyannis, Barnstable, Sandwich, Dennis and towns extending to Provincetown. In an August 2026 review, a family credited Joel and the team with a prompt, responsive cleanout of their parents' basement and garage, saving repeated trips to the transfer station. Another August customer described staff emptying an attic and asking questions when uncertain rather than assuming what to do. A June customer said their belongings were wrapped, packed and moved into a new home without problems. Getting service started also receives specific praise. A July customer said emails were answered quickly and collection began in under a week. Another July customer said Tamires patiently answered all their questions and made the process easy; Garbage Gone collected the trash the same day their previous company had left it behind. A customer who switched in late July described a smooth transition and attentive office staff. Dumpster users describe delivery and placement as well as the rental itself. A July reviewer said the driver placed the dumpster exactly where it was needed. An August customer had a dumpster at home for two weeks and said earlier pickup was available. Pricing praise includes a July customer who said trash and recycling cost around $60 a month after previously paying more than $100 with Nauset Disposal. Those are that customer's reported charges. Google lists a 5-star rating from 568 ratings, and BBB assigns an A+ grade. An August 19 reviewer raised a serious concern: they said a truck leaked hydraulic fluid along their neighborhood street and at least two miles of the main road. The reviewer worried about nearby storm drains and said a promised callback from the boss never came. They also said someone left absorbent material at a drain, while expressly being unsure whether that person was a neighbor or company employee. Separately, a July customer said the supplied containers had been unavailable the previous week and they still needed one.
