The story homeowners keep telling about Gate City Landscaping is about showing up. One customer reached out during a storm while away from home and had the driveway cleared within thirty minutes; another said the crew worked through extreme heat and then rain to finish restoring the front of the house. Zach, the owner whose name runs through nearly every review, operates out of Nashua and works with a small crew. The company describes its work as mowing, landscape design, maintenance, trimming, clearings, seasonal clean-ups, small hardscaping and junk removal, with free estimates. What the reviews actually describe lines up with that: lawn mowing and aerating, mulch beds front and back, fall cleanups, and snow removal through the winter for at least one repeat customer. Two jobs sit outside the mowing-and-mulch routine and are worth knowing about. In October 2025, two separate customers wrote about stump grinding — one had cut down more than thirty trees and had Gate City grind every stump, the other said the stumps disappeared as though they had never been there. A September 2025 customer hired them to haul away a pile of dirt. Price comes up nearly as often as punctuality, and always in the same direction: reasonable, fair, accurate. A December 2025 customer said the quote was prompt and turned out to be exactly what the job cost, then paid ten percent over it anyway. Estimates being honored, rather than revised upward, is the recurring note. The written history is short. Sixteen reviews spanning 2025 into 2026, all of them on Google, all of them five stars, eight of them in the past six months. That is an active, growing record rather than a long one, and it is worth reading as the picture of a young company that customers are happy with, not as decades of proven consistency. New Hampshire does not register landscapers or general home-improvement contractors at the state level, so there is no registry status to check for this trade. If the job you have in mind is one of the bigger ones — clearings, hardscaping, or another multi-day project — ask how the schedule will run and get the estimate in writing, which is the practice customers describe anyway. For routine lawn care, mulch, seasonal cleanups and winter plowing in the Nashua area, this is a small owner-run outfit that answers quickly and finishes what it starts.
I had mulch work done on my front and backyard. Aswell as grass work and aerating my yard. Him and his small team are very hard workers that work when they get to your house and don’t mess around. Was happy to see such good work done by them and especially how professional respectful and easy to contact they were. They do good fast work. Would definitely recommend for anyone considering lawn maintenance and improvements
Gate City Landscaping always does an amazing job! They take their time, pay attention to detail, and offer very reasonable prices for the quality of work they provide. I’ve used them many times for both regular lawn maintenance and larger outdoor projects and have always been extremely happy with the results. Highly recommend!
