Update: The business owner has since contacted us and refunded the full deposit after this review was posted. The matter has now been resolved. I’ve updated this review accordingly. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My parents hired Lone Wolf Landscaping and paid a $495 deposit via Venmo for landscaping work. After the deposit was paid, communication became very difficult. Multiple phone calls, texts, and Facebook messages went unanswered, until I made a Facebook post asking if anyone had had similar experiences with the company. Based on our experience and others’, I would be cautious about paying a deposit without a clear contract, timeline, and reliable communication plan in place.

Reached out to Kevin recently after he came out a few years ago to provide a quote for a small yard rehab project. He answered right away, was happy I reached back out, and confirmed the scope / would do the project for the same price. Scheduled, deposit, and work was done as expected for the exact price we agreed on. Great crew of guys helped out, Kevin was a pleasure to work with and is clearly a good, family man. I appreciate the help with the yard!

I hired Kevin in May 2024 for a yard rehab project, which included grading and overseeding to grow new grass. He quoted me around $950, and I paid a 50% deposit up front. Unfortunately, things quickly went downhill from there. Kevin kept delaying the work, citing scheduling issues. By the time he was ready, it was already June and too hot to overseed effectively. I told him to keep the deposit and just schedule the work for the fall, when conditions would be better. Fall came and went with no follow-up. By late October, frost had already arrived, and the window had passed again. We agreed to aim for early spring 2025, but I never heard back. In the meantime, I ended up doing most of the grading myself. I reached out and asked if he could just apply the deposit toward doing a couple of flower beds instead, so we could call it even. He left my message on read and never responded. I tried to give Kevin the benefit of the doubt multiple times, but the lack of communication and follow-through was extremely disappointing. I can't recommend his services based on this experience.
