Gentle Nature Landscaping

One Stoughton homeowner looked at the tree stump in their yard — the massive one — and doubted it could be dug out at all. Two days later it was gone and the land behind it was leveled, they wrote in a November 2024 review. Gentle Nature Landscaping works both halves of a yard. Its own site lists gardening, lawn care, hardscape and softscape, maintenance, retaining walls and patio paver installation around Stoughton; its Thumbtack profile adds tree work, land clearing, grading and snow plowing. The stonework draws the most detailed accounts. A March 2025 customer had a paver driveway and a retaining wall built; another that same month had the walkway up to the house redone; in April 2024 a homeowner called their walkway pavers neat and meticulous; and in September 2025 a condo resident described a patio redesign, writing that the crew met with the condo's management first to be sure the work followed their guidelines. Tree work runs alongside it, and it tends to happen fast. Three sizeable branches plus one already down were quoted and cut the next day, per an August 2024 review. A large tree was removed and replanted in another spot in a May 2024 job. An October 2024 customer whose previous landscaper no-showed was fit in on short notice, because the crew was already working in the neighborhood. Some of it is standing work rather than one-off. An August 2024 client with a large front and back yard said the quote was reasonable, weather changes were communicated, and the crew kept coming all summer; a March 2025 reviewer had been a customer for three years and called the pricing competitive. This July, a homeowner wrote that there was no attempt to upsell them — they were given options and steered away from overpaying. Google carries 4.9 stars from 39 ratings, Thumbtack 5.0 from 10. For lawn care and yard cleanups, or for a patio, a walkway, a retaining wall or a tree that needs to come out, this is a straightforward call in the Stoughton area. Write down which parts of the job are one-time and which are recurring visits, and settle up front whether seasonal work like snow plowing sits inside the same arrangement.
