Home improvement registration is what covers non-structural residential work, so ask which registration covers your job today and check it with the Department of Public Safety and the Office of Consumer Affairs before signing. For a roof assembly, a deck membrane, or water coming through a terrace or foundation wall on a multi-unit building, the permit history behind this name is specific and repeated. Worth asking whether they take smaller residential jobs, since the permits shown are large-building work — and asking for references, which are the only account of the work available.
