Google shows 4.2 stars from five ratings, and only one of them carries any text: a homeowner writing in June 2026 who called the crew specialists in historical buildings and said they had worked together for more than a decade. That lines up with the permit list far better than the generic kitchen / bathroom / basement remodel menu BuildZoom prints on its profile — a menu the same page's own permit history contradicts. Two things to pin down before calling. The documented work skews toward multi-family and commercial buildings, so ask how a single-family roof or repointing job fits their schedule. On credentials, BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (#138620) for the company and an EPA renovation certification (#NAT-38676-2) it marks inactive and once cancelled; ask them for current copies of both. Their BBB file has been open since 2017 but sits 'Not Rated' because BBB says it doesn't have enough information — no complaints or government actions are listed on it either. The company also says one of its projects took a 2025 Excellence in Waterproofing Project award. This is the outfit to call for exterior restoration on an older or larger building — roof decks, copper, repointing, waterproofing — where a long permit history counts for more than a stack of consumer reviews. Ask for recent references on a project the size of yours.
