Giacco Oil

Giacco Oil's website says its technicians repair, service and install gas, oil and electric heating systems in Meriden and the surrounding area. The company says it has been in business 73 years. A recent Google customer says several other HVAC companies told them to replace their whole unit, while Giacco found a rusted-out drain pan, ordered a replacement and installed it within a week; that customer credits Jeff and his team. In a 2026 review, a customer said Jeff serviced their boiler the same day and got it running before they had to leave town. A 2024 customer said the owner came out for a furnace cleaning and used instruments to check how cleanly it burned and to measure the draft. A 2023 customer who had just closed on a property in Meriden said that when the first-floor tenant's heat stopped working, the company came the same day, drove to Springfield for parts the next day and had the furnace fixed the next afternoon. A 2022 customer who woke up with no hot water said the company arrived in under two hours, replaced a broken part on the oil tank and cleaned the boiler; that customer said the company had also installed their boiler and water heater, moved an oil tank and put in an outside fill pipe. A 2022 reviewer said their furnace went out at 6 in the morning and was back up at 2 in the afternoon. A 2022 customer wrote that air-conditioning work started in July 2022 left them without A/C all summer, was still not done, had failed inspection, and that three weeks had passed with no response. Its BBB page shows an A+ grade.
