Each of the eight reviews on Giachetto Landscape's Google page is five stars, and they tell a consistent story: a messy yard, a fast turnaround, and homeowners who keep going back outside to look at the result. The company is based in Whitman and run by owner Cristiano ("Chris") Giachetto; its website says the business began in 2010 and now operates as Giachetto Landscape Corp, with 16 years in business self-reported on the site. It says it covers a wide swath of the South Shore, from Whitman and Abington down through Hingham, Marshfield and Duxbury. The work people describe is squarely lawn care and cleanup. A 2026 review calls the crew efficient, respectful, fast, and reasonably priced, with no leaf or stick left in any corner of the yard after a big spring cleanup. A 2023 reviewer credits Chris with hand-laying a new lawn of sod after a prompt, competitive quote, pulling up the old, weed-filled lawn first. Two 2025 reviews add the same notes from a different angle — a fast response and a free estimate before the crew got to work, and a crew reviewers call reliable and on time, staying until the job is actually done. An earlier, 2022 review describes a cleanup that transformed the yard in just under two days, with the homeowners saying days later they still couldn't stop looking at it. The reviews span 2022 through 2026 and describe the same kind of work each time: spring cleanups and lawn installs done quickly and left tidy. For a spring cleanup or a lawn or sod job in its service area, it's worth a call; as with any landscaper, pin down the scope and timing in the estimate before work starts.
The Giachetto Landscape crew did an absolutely incredible job on a big spring cleanup at our home. The yard was a mess, and there wasn’t a single leaf or stick left in any nook or cranny once they were done. They were efficient, respectful, fast, and reasonably priced. We’re blown away by how hard they worked. There are so many landscaping companies to choose from, and we couldn’t be happier to have found such an amazing crew! 10/10!
Giachetto Landscape is the best! Chris and his crew are reliable, on time and they don’t stop working until the job is done. They did a clean up in my yard and now it looks like a showplace!!! I am so grateful for the professionalism and expertise! You will not regret hiring Giachetto Landscape!!!
We cannot recommend Cris and his team enough! Timely response, came out to give us a free estimate, and got to work (as soon as the weather permitted!) We have had a difficult time attempting our yard clean up each Spring and knew it was time to hire a professional team. Extremely satisfied with our beautifully manicured yard and the kids are excited to get back out there and play! Thanks again Cris!!
Chris did an amazing job installing my new lawn with sod. From him being readily available to take a look at my job in the beginning, to providing me a prompt, competitive quote, to the pulling up of my old weed filled lawn, hand laying the new sod, and setting up of the sprinklers/timers to water the lawn, he has been a pleasure to work with. He also pulled out a large shrub and planted a smaller one, as well as re-mulched. He is professional, responsive to all questions, easy to work with, and a hard worker. I highly recommend him for any landscape project you may have.
Chris and his co-worker did an amazing job on our yard on the spring cleanup. My wife and I kept going out to the yard to look around after they left. We couldn't believe how good it looked. I wish we had taken before pictures. We highly recommend Chris!
