Kadosh Construction is a small South Shore outfit run by an owner customers know simply as Alex, based between Hanson and Whitman and working across the Weymouth area. The trade is tile and hard surfaces: ceramic and porcelain tile, vinyl and linoleum sheet flooring, and interlocking pavers for patios, walkways and steps. What the handful of customers who have written about them agree on is the owner himself. In a February 2025 review a homeowner who paid $1,650 for ceramic and porcelain tile described Alex as clearly experienced and genuinely invested in the quality of the work — prompt, neat, cheerful and fair on price — and said she would use him again. In an April 2024 review a repeat client said Alex had done multiple projects at his home, each quoted at a fair price and each turning out well. Another April 2024 customer had a bathroom done and called the result fantastic, delivered on time. Pricing and punctuality are the two threads running through every account: fair or affordable price, work delivered on the agreed date. Nobody has written about a problem. The honest caveat is how little there is to go on. Five reviews exist in total, four of them written in a single month in April 2024, and nothing has been added in the past six months — that is a very small base for a perfect score, and it is drawn from essentially one directory rather than several independent ones. The company's own description also overstates its history: the blurb claims over 20 years of experience while the same page's business details say 10 years and its Angi listing gives a 2016 start, so treat the longer figure with caution and ask directly. A reasonable call for tile, vinyl flooring or a paver patio on the South Shore if you want a hands-on owner-operator and a fair quote. Given how thin the public record is, ask for two or three recent local references you can actually call, get the scope and price in writing, and confirm current Massachusetts registration and insurance yourself — no licence number is published anywhere.
