An office and warehouse LED conversion brought a customer to GM Industrial Electric in March 2022. Writing on BuildZoom, the customer said they chose GM after multiple bids and meetings with electrical contractors. Bill maximized the rebates; the customer separately praised the efficient work and communication on the job site. The Hudson company says it was founded in 2008 and has completed 64+ permitted projects involving commercial tenant fit-outs, industrial panel upgrades, LED lighting retrofits, residential rewiring and HVAC electrical support. Its website describes electrical contracting for offices, retail, restaurants and multi-use facilities, including new construction and electrical system design. An August 2020 BuildZoom customer said a technician came out by the afternoon for an HVAC issue. A June 2016 Google review praised the electrical work, communication and customer service. A September 2013 BuildZoom reviewer alleged that the driver of a GM Industrial Electric van cut off their lane during a road encounter in Sudbury, verbally assaulted them and then followed them to intimidate them. GM advertises free estimates, 24/7 emergency service and insurance. It names Hudson, Marlborough, Bolton, Stow, Sudbury, Northborough, Southborough, Shrewsbury and Worcester as its service area. The website prints license number 20802. BuildZoom lists master electrician number 20802 and electrical business numbers 2344 and 2831.
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from GM Industrial Electric. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
Standard receptacle swaps — a new dedicated circuit is a bigger job ($350–$750).
Flush mounts, pendants, chandeliers — hung on existing boxes.
Estimated range
$530 – $1,100
Typical electrical project around $820
We recently had a large LED conversion in a multi-use office and warehouse facility. After multiple bids and meetings with electrical contractors we decided to move forward with GM electrical. We are so happy that we did. Bill was able to maximize our rebates and the work was done efficiently. The communication on the job site was excellent! I would highly recommend GM for all your electrical projects.
Quick service, had an issue with our HVAC and had the tech out by the afternoon! Will be using for all future needs.
Great choice for all your electrical needs. Flawless work. Great communication and customer service.
While on the road in Sudbury MA i was making a right turn.and a GM Industrial Electric van started to cut my lane off so i did not pass him not sure for what reason. he speed up and then verbally assaulted be i could not understand him due to hie foreign accent. after i told him in america we use our blinkers to turn he then followed me to intimidate me which did not work i am in law enforcement. my advise is not to use this company for their services i would not want this guy to service my home or business.. no stars for this company
