In a November 2025 Google review, a customer says they hired GN Construction for an addition on their house that included a total kitchen renovation and two new bathrooms, and credits Guy's daily communication and a skilled team of carpenters, painters, a plumber and electricians. GN works out of the Hartford area; its site lists West Hartford, Hartford, Glastonbury, Manchester, Cromwell, Southington and New Britain, and the company says it has been in business 20 years. An October 2025 customer had two bathrooms completely renovated and the front door replaced over several months, and singled out project manager Zach Saucier for keeping them informed with no surprises. A September 2024 customer described a full house renovation with a new kitchen and two new bathrooms, finished on time and within budget. In a 2022 review, Guy and his team finished an unfinished basement; another 2022 customer had an original 1929 bathroom remodeled. In a December 2021 review, a customer whom two other contractors had told a small pantry could not become a half bath said Guy Neumann's company did the conversion. In a February 2024 Google review, a customer who paid a $4,030 cash deposit on a $40,350 bathroom remodel said they got no receipt, that the owner, Guy, was condescending on a call, and that after they asked for a refund he sent $3,712.20 and would not refund the rest. The same reviewer said questions took a week or more to answer and that GN asked them to buy materials only from its vendors. A 2021 Reddit commenter in r/hartford named GN Construction as a company run by trustworthy people.
“You could call GN Construction or Jules Poirier Roofing. Both really good companies run by extremely trustworthy people.”
Excellent general contractor with top-quality service. The team was reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented. They handled the project professionally and completed everything on time. Communication was clear and consistent. The final result is impressive. I’m very happy and highly recommend their services.
We hired GN for an addition on our house, which included a total kitchen renovation and two new bathrooms. Guy’s daily communications helped keep us in the loop and he was very easy to reach via phone call if we had any questions or concerns. His team was extremely skilled from the carpenters, the painters, the plumber and electricians, we always felt that the quality of the workmanship was excellent. This process can definitely be stressful but we were so happy to work with a team that was so efficient. We would absolutely hire them again for another project on our house!
We contracted with GN Construction to do a complete renovation of two bathrooms as well as the replacement of our front door. Over the course of several months, we got to know Guy and the GN team quite well, and from start to finish, our entire experience could not have been any better. The crew takes great pride in what they do, and it certainly shows in the superior quality of their work. Equally impressive, every single member on the crew was responsive, friendly, highly communicative, and a pleasure to work with. A special "shout out" to our Project Manager, Zach Saucier. A true professional and a genuinely great guy, Zach kept us regularly apprised of EVERYTHING, and there were NEVER any surprises.
We had a fantastic experience with GN Construction. Full house renovation including new kitchen and two new bathrooms. They completed the project on time and stayed within budget. Their team was not only professional but also very friendly and easy to communicate with throughout the process. The quality of their work exceeded our expectations, and they kept everything clean and organized. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and skilled contractors.
