In July 2026 a reviewer described Ron Mainville and company turning an open back deck into a 3-season enclosed porch after months waiting on approval from the home association; project manager Will kept the reviewer informed, and carpenter Paul and crew cleaned up after each day. In November 2025 the owner of a three-family house built in 1927 wrote that Ron was the only one of 5 contractors willing to take on its three front porches, and that roadblocks from the City caused delays. In December 2025 a reviewer said Ron and his team took their kitchen "from 1968 to 2025." Following a window replacement job, we engaged Ron and Mainville C&R to replace our window and flooring trim throughout the house. The team was quick and efficient; they also collaborated with us to ensure minimal disruption in our schedules, as I work from home two days a week. Additionally, the trim work was a last-minute decision following the window installation, and Ron was able to get the work scheduled and completed without a long delay between projects. We would certainly recommend Mainville C&R to anyone.
Mainville Construction recently completed a siding project on my home. The beginning of the process was stressful, arguing with the insurance company and trying to come to an agreement due to wind damage. Ron was extremely patient with me while I worked through everything and helped to get my insurance company to understand the need for completely new siding. Once the work began, after a few rain delays everything was done in about two weeks and I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out. The team working on my home was professional and courteous. They made sure that every day the area around my house was clean, and any messes they made while working were picked up and out of the way. Ron and his team communicated with me through the whole process and I always felt comfortable reaching out with any questions. I have a few other small projects that I would like to complete around my home, and I will definitely be calling Mainville Construction in the future.

Ron Mainville and company did a fantastic job in transforming my open deck back porch into a beautiful 3 season enclosed area. It came out fantastically and the workmanship is second to none. It was a process from the start, with obtaining approval from the home association where I live (taking months), to dealing with a very harsh winter, to being able to start. Project manager Will was 100% on top of every aspect. I truly appreciated his taking the time to keep me informed of every step as they occurred. Carpenter Paul and crew worked diligently in completing the job. They were thorough, professional, and cleaned up everything after each day. Honestly, it could not have been a better experience. I would definitely recommend this company for anyone’s building needs. Ron is great to work with, pays close attention to detail and outlines every aspect of activity and related cost in the contract. All in all, I now have years to enjoy my newly renovated porch! This review is a few years overdue, but Ron and his crew put an addition on our home which included substantial changes to our kitchen, bathroom, master bedroom, family room, windows, siding, garage, deck and roof. He was professional and communicative throughout the process and explained things in detail as he went. He immediately handled any unexpected emergencies (like an unexpected deluge of rain not forecasted a day after the foundation was poured) as if it were his own home. Aside from the "extras" we asked for after the project started, or those unexpected things that occur as you are pulling things apart, the budget was as we expected. The timing, however, was not as we expected as they finished EARLIER than expected with only one item (selected by us through a third party vendor) arriving later than planned. It's been almost two years now since our project has been completed and we are just as happy with the quality and workmanship of it as the day it was completed. We highly recommend Ron and would gladly work with him again on any future projects.
