In a 2024 HomeAdvisor review, a customer said they contracted with what they were told was Granite State Masonry Waterproofing to replace 2 railings on the front steps, fix the cracks in the property walls, stucco the walls with new mortar and repoint some of the bricks, and paid half in advance. That 2024 review says the cracks in the wall and walkway came back after just a few days, the railings do not reach the bottom step, cement was left everywhere, and they kept promising to come back and finish the job but never showed. I had Jessie and Gerard Maughan out to do some work on my basement, of course it was under Old Stone Masonry, and while it started easy enough, things quickly went from bad to worse. It's been months and I still have unfinished work, work that was "completed" but needed adjustment, a yard full of trash that ultimately I needed to have taken away(not to mention the human feces left by their workers) and a loss of trust in myself and people that I need to deal with to fix their repairs. Now it's been a no show and no contact for over a month. I would absolutely steer clear of this company. Apparently they use multiple business names but the scam is the same no matter who they say they are.

If I could give NO star, I would. The concrete on my garage floor began cracking within 3 days. Repeated calls never answered. Emptied the unused concrete in my flower beds. Left behind iron railings. Maybe they belong to Cheryl. Took my money and ran. DO NOT HIRE these people.
None of the work was provided correctly. They used substandard cement so the cracks in the wall and walkway have come back after just a few days, they installed incorrect railings that are not ADA compliant and do not reach the bottom step so my elderly mother is in danger of falling, they left cement everywhere, did not properly point the bricks. They keep promising to come back and correct the job, finish the job, but they never show. Now I know they never had any intention of doing the job correctly, just slapped some poor quality cement down, installed a poor quality railing (with missing screws & that is already rusting after less than 1 week) and basically took my large sum of money and ran. Anyone who would use them should expect to be lied to, and end up with their property in worse shape than when it all started. These people apparently have no morals, no conscience - they are perpetrating a total scam on anyone foolish enough to hire them (and that includes me).
