I have never had a better experience with a landscaping or outdoor construction service. Start to finish, Michael and the Wollaston crew were responsive, knowledgeable and meticulous and budget-minded. We’ve been in our house for 25 years and had piecemeal work here and there, but out project with Wollaston was big in scope and had many, many components, including an expansive stone patio and a beautiful fieldstone retaining wall, drainage and irrigation systems, stone walkways, sod installation, a cedar trellis, stucco treatment of an existing cement retaining wall, cobblestone borders, installation of several raised planter boxes, and expert guidance on plant selection.

Wollaston demolished our garage, put in a brick patio and walkway, new sod lawn, shrubs, fence, the whole lot. Great, professional team, made our lives easy. We gave them a lot of freedom within the boundary conditions to do something that would look good and work for us, and they delivered efficiently and respectfully. Team is great.

Mike and the entire crew at Wollaston Development were excellent to work with for my project to build a custom bluestone patio, including stair work, drainage solutions, and leveling. From the start of the consultation process, Mike showed he was incredibly knowledgeable but not rigid, listening to my ideas and coming up with creative solutions that meet my aesthetic criteria and budget. During the build, his team was incredibly professional, always showed up on time, provided me with walkthroughs and updates, and kept the project as tidy as possible at the end of the day. The team was very open to my feedback and showed great flexibility and care to make sure I was happy with the result. Mike also was very true to budget and exceeded expectations on the speed of the project. Whether you are looking to fully outsource design or partner with someone to achieve a specific vision, I would highly, highly recommend hiring Wollaston and definitely plan to work with Mike again in the future.

After years of moderate success at best at growing my lawn, as well as endlessly  dragging a sprinkler across it, my wife and I decided to upgrade to sod w/ a  sprinkler system.
