Green Monster Roof Cleaning

A customer writing in May 2023 told the story of an appraiser getting out of his car and saying "Wow, new roof looks great!" The roof was fifteen years old. DJ had cleaned it three years earlier. That is the argument Green Monster makes without having to make it: clean the roof instead of replacing it. DJ Warila runs the business out of Shirley. Roof cleaning is what the BBB lists him under and what most people hire him for, but the jobs customers describe fan out from there - house and deck power washing, gutters, windows inside and out, brick chimneys, vinyl siding, a screen porch ceiling, walkway pavers, and for one June 2026 customer, Christmas light installation. Getting him there is the part people keep writing about. A May 2026 customer asked for a quote in the morning, had him at the house the same day, and was offered the job on the spot since he was already there. In February 2026, with ice dams pushing water inside, he arrived within two hours to cut them and drain the blockage - the problem he told the Boston Globe that month he tries to get ahead of before the snow piles up. Another February 2026 customer had him come back a second time, in the dark, to be sure they were satisfied. Care around the house comes up again and again: plants, furniture and foundation plantings covered or worked around, shrubs and mulch left undamaged. A January 2025 customer preparing to sell had him stay on to help with a few loose shingles. The complaint to know about is from December 2021. That customer liked him personally and rated the work he did do as good, but said he turned up 90 minutes late, did not finish the job, charged $1,000 for five hours and left a pile of gutter debris under the roof line. For moss, black streaks and mildew on a roof you would rather wash than replace, this is essentially a one-man operation with a five-star Google page across 70 ratings. Spring is his busy season by several customers' accounts, so book early and settle in writing which surfaces - roof, siding, deck, gutters, windows - are in the price.
