Green Mountain Piano Moving is hired to move pianos. A page on countrypiano.com has praised the people at the company for offering good advice about a piano. A recent Google reviewer says the company emailed at 7:30 PM the night before a piano move, booked weeks earlier and confirmed, to say it couldn't do the job because its check engine light was on. That customer says another Vermont business did the move the same morning.
“Also, the guys at Green Mountain Piano Moving (Lowell and crew) were great and offered some good advice about the piano.”
Worst business I ever dealt with. The NIGHT BEFORE they were supposed to move my piano they sent me an email at 7:30PM saying they couldn't. I had booked the move weeks before, confirmed the job and didn't hear anything until 7:30 PM the night before the move saying their check engine light was on. Luckily we found a reliable small Vermont business who did the job that same morning.
