Guard Oil delivers home heating oil out of Fairhaven. The company describes its business as residential home heating oil for customers from Cape Cod to Providence. A 2026 customer who was almost out of oil said Guard Oil came the next day, and that Mike was very nice; that customer called it their new oil company. A recent customer reported a billing problem: they said they were overcharged on a credit card and were told the refund would take 3-4 weeks.
Beware of billing issues! Overcharged and as soon as I ask for my money back they claim it will take 3-4 weeks to refund the overcharge they made to my credit card! Not friendly service or courteous. Would you like to wait a month for a refund? Does this sound ok to you? I don’t have automatic delivery and the money was taken 3 years ago when husband was sick in hospital! Provide my money back you basically stole OVERCHARGING me! I also have an active card on file that they refuse to post the refund to! This happened to me, CHECK YOUR STATEMENTS, Guard oil is not trustworthy! They stole $109.00 from me! Refund has been requested 9/25/2026,
Last experience went sour. Waited in bay for 30 minutes because computers were down. Offered to provide card # to run once computers were operational. Was not acceptable to them. After waiting with no oil change and now needing to leave they were not able to return my registration because they lost it. I was offered $25.00 off next oil change and would receive reimbursement for fees for getting a new registration. NOT ACCEPTABLE!! Inconvenience of 30 minute wait with no oil change, inconvenience of applying for new registration, inconvenience of going back to get another oil change if computerscare working and reimbursement of registration is worth more than $50.00. I requested a free oil change on which I thought was fair and admiral and it was not accepted. My family has been going there regularly so they have now lost the opportunity of changing oil on 5 vehicles

Almost out of oil and Guard oil fairhaven mass was the best came next day Mike was very nice and we appreciate you guys highly recrecommend found my new oil company!!
Never using Guard Oil again. We ordered oil to be delivered today.
