Siding is the job people hire Guimauto Construction for, over and over: vinyl siding, shingle siding, siding repair, often with gutters, a porch or a deck added on. The Hudson company has 45 Google ratings averaging 4.8, a 4.9 on Thumbtack from 41 ratings, and an A+ grade on its BBB page. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. The company says it was founded by Tullio Guimaraes, a Brazilian entrepreneur, after two years in the U.S. construction industry, and named for his father's Guimauto automotive company in Brazil. It describes itself as family-owned, with Tullio leading operations and his wife Natalia as CFO, and says it works across Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. The best accounts are specific. An August 2025 customer had siding repaired and exterior windows re-flashed; they said the crew arrived on time, explained what they were doing, finished ahead of schedule and cleaned up. An October 2025 reviewer had old shingle siding removed and new shingles put up, and said the workers arrived promptly and kept the work area safe and tidy. A January 2026 customer described footings for a new deck dug by hand and said the town inspector took pictures of the work; the same customer mentioned a language barrier that meant the deck did not come out exactly as they had pictured, though the company honored the estimate. An April 2026 reviewer who had vinyl siding and a deck done singled out Esther in the office for keeping things on track. The recent run is not all smooth. In a 1-star June 2026 review, a customer who paid $1,500 for 40 linear feet of gutter and fascia work said the first install used the wrong materials and left nails and debris in the yard, the return visit left the gutter at the wrong pitch, and they were hiring another company to fix it. A 2-star July 2026 review of a siding job described a project that took four weeks with missed days, late arrivals and a one-to-two-person crew, nails left on the walkway, the house not properly wrapped in Tyvek after the old shingles came off, and siding installed with no insulation underneath; that customer also said the office speaks limited English and the workers none, though they said the finished work looks good.
