I joined HAREI two years ago with an interest in developing my own home solar system solution. Over these two years, I have met with many of the group both socially and technically in support of my solar objectives. I have found this group to be extremely committed to the cause of renewable energy. They freely provide their time and expertise in helping individuals like myself achieve our renewable energy goals within personal project constraints. I would not be as far along with my project as I am without the support I have received from HAREI as an organization.

We worked with HAREI to install solar on our house in 2023 and have helped others do the same. HAREI is a wonderful group of dedicated, committed volunteers who help members of the community design, spec, source and install solar projects in the interest of sustainability and renewable energy. I highly recommend HAREI!

HAREI was invaluable in helping me with DIY solar on my house. Experienced HAREI members helped me thru the design process and when it came time to put up the panels, 30 volunteers showed up to help. We put up 50 panels in 3 hours! DIY solar with HAREI saved me more than 50% (vs. hiring a contractor). My system went live in July of 2022 and I am on track for a 3.5 year payback and helping to reduce greenhouse gases along the way. I have never experienced a more engaged volunteer organization.
