In a July 2023 Google review, a waterfront customer wrote that Harold MacQuinn, Inc. obtained all the necessary permits and installed a good size sea wall over the winter and spring of 2023, with high side grading and hydroseeding afterward, all for the contract price; the crew even power-swept the driveway at the end, and the reviewer thanked Chip, Todd and Dave. The Hancock, Maine company sells stone and does site work: its website says it keeps over 15 different stone samples in stock, including crushed stone, granite, ledge and specialty gravels and sands, and its BBB description lists residential and commercial concrete work, big site work, water and sewer separation, asphalt and excavating work. The BBB description says it was established in 1930, and the website claims 93 years in business. In April 2024 a customer had a pad prepared for a conex storage box. That same month a homeowner building a patio needed several yards of crushed stone; other suppliers made excuses or ignored the calls, while Harold MacQuinn delivered the same day. In October 2022 a customer got the material to repair a washed out driveway with fast delivery, and in July 2025 another chose crushed stone for a driveway from a selection of sizes and colors. An October 2025 reviewer wrote that Colin was easy to work with and that the delivery drivers were respectful of the property. The company holds 4.6 stars from 30 Google ratings.
