I had an estimate done in May & signed the proposal. I called in July and spoke with Jordan and explained I wanted to pay cash and was looking to have an install date for the fall. September they come to mark up the property. I call back to schedule and provide a deposit and they said the proposal was incorrect and the person that came was “not qualified to write proposals”. From May to September no one mentioned any issues with my original estimate. After a 5k price difference you can guess where I told them to shove it. I don’t know what kind of company sends out unqualified people with no recollection of what their employees are doing. This is NOT a company I want to do business with. Thankfully I didn’t give them a dime. These companies are a dime a dozen & I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
I initially loved working with this company but our gate is not working properly. It was installed in early May and we have been reaching out for weeks. We contacted our sales person directly, he gave us a repair date and my husband took the day off to be here. No one showed up. I contacted the main office and spoke with someone who was very unprofessional. I was told they would get back to me and still no response. Although they have many good reviews, they ask for those reviews on your installation day while you are thrilled with your fence. The real test is in response and quality after the fact. CHECK YELP REVIEWS. Many people with the same experience. BEWARE.
This is the most responsive and professional group anyone could ever ask for. The team was informative and patient in explaining the project , including all of the whys. The consideration of what was required for our project was not only heard, but it was clear that the Hartford Fence team put their heart into our project. The speed with which they addressed our needs was exceptional. We are a private school in a small community, The project contract was signed on a Thursday and our construction started the next day, everything was done in record time. Allowing us to have zero impact on the start of school. if you need quality and caring, Hartford Fence is the team you want by your side working on projects.
