Heckmann Building and Remodeling LLC

A recent customer hired Heckmann Building and Remodeling for a master bathroom remodel and wrote that Erich and his team did the job, with Erich managing specialists for each building function — carpentry, plumbing, electrical. A 2020 BuildZoom reviewer named Erich as the owner and said he renovated an entire kitchen, put in new windows throughout the home and redid a porch after a carpenter ants issue. A 2026 customer said Erich installed a picture window on a wall that had been windowless for decades, getting it done in a couple of days just before Christmas, with no drafts after a stretch of wind and cold. A 2025 customer said Erich renovated a master bathroom and built out an unfinished basement, including a full bathroom, an outdoor patio and a hot tub. A 2025 reviewer wrote that Erich and his crew replaced a 32-year-old wood deck with a composite deck. In a 2024 review, a customer said Erich repaired severe rot damage in a sun room and remodeled it, calling the job cost effective. A 2023 customer said Erich finished a basement: framed walls and rooms, insulated, sheetrocked, added a drop ceiling and put in new egress windows. A 2022 customer said Erich replaced an old pressure-treated back porch with a new Trex one, and during demolition identified rotting wood where the porch attaches to the house, showed the problem and offered options for the repair. A 2022 reviewer said Erich repaired a Trex deck that another contractor had improperly installed, and remodeled a guest bath.
