Henry's Electric, Inc. is an appliance and electrical business in Lee. A local news site has described Scott LeProvost as its president and his brother John as vice president, celebrating Henry's 75th anniversary in the community. On the Better Business Bureau, the company says it offers electrical contracting and sales of appliances. A 2025 customer said a Miele dishwasher was delivered and installed along with the removal of the old dishwasher, and that the technicians removed all debris and boxes after the installation. That 2025 customer said the technicians also installed a large under-the-cabinet microwave. Another account from 2025 said a GE range and side-by-side refrigerator took two weeks to deliver, and that Willie and Dave were the installers. A 2024 customer said the electricians replaced and installed several light fixtures, and praised both the work and the cleanup. A 2026 customer described an oven igniter repair in which the repairman first arrived with a burner that did not include the igniter, so the correct part had to be ordered. That customer said the range's right front leg was found broken after the repair, a replacement leg was ordered, and a "Return service" charge on the invoice was removed after they disputed it. A 2025 reviewer who arranged service on a Bertazzoni range for a client in Ashfield said Henry's showed up to the wrong address, and that Jean then said they would no longer service the client because she was too far away. A 2020 customer said that on the morning of the installation they were told the dishwasher was not in stock, and that the installers left the washer and dryer in the mudroom because "they couldn't fit it in".
“Henry's Electric in Lee is good”
“Scott LeProvost, president of Henry’s Electric, Inc. in Lee, also appreciates the camaraderie in Lee. He and his brother John, vice president, are celebrating Henry’s 75th anniversary in the community this year.”
I don't even know where to start. We are firm supporters of local businesses. We moved to Lee in 2020, and ordered a complete Bosch kitchen Suite from Henry's. Not the highest level or most expensive equipment, but still "high end" appliances. There are no breaks for buying complete sets. We paid full retail on a Bosch 6 burner gas range, Refrigerator, dishwasher and hood. During this time, we have had a couple of repair calls. Our oven was cooking at 450 degrees after our first repair (no matter what temperature we selected). Repairman came and it was still cooking at 450 regardless of temp selection. Second call was a more "experienced" repairman, who nailed the temperature. It was very impressive, but I wish that happened on the first try. Recently, our oven igniter became inoperative. A cursory look and I could see the electrical wiring wore out and was disconnected from the igniter. I took a picture of this and sent to Marcie at Henry's Electric. A couple of days later, she called back and informed me that the igniter was only available in conjunction with the entire burner. She asked if I wanted to order the entire piece? I understood that was the only option provided to fix the igniter, so I said yes. Approximately 10 days later, the repairman came to our house, started the work, and soon disclosed that the part he had was a burner only (WITHOUT THE IGNITER). I couldn't believe my ears. The burner was never the problem. The igniter was. He apologized and said they will order the correct part. Over a week later, after I called to check on the status of the part, they said "it just got here today". Repairman sent same day. During the repair, my wife was located in the kitchen. Our range is a tight fit between two pieces of granite countertop. She was surprised by how loud and roughly the range was being handled. It caught her attention a few times, and she turned to see what was going on. During the actual repair (second trip to our house), the repairman showed up with ONLY an igniter (so, apparently the option to purchase an igniter WASN'T limited to buying a whole burner/igniter kit). After the repair, (normal ignition and oven function) we noticed the right side of the range was lower than the left. When we opened the oven door, the rolling shelf moved out, indicating the oven wasn't level. We looked and saw the right front footing was broken (likely when the oven was being man handled to repair the igniter). It required a shim to level the oven until a new leg was attached. We went back to Henry's with pictures of the broken front right leg (see photo attached), and Marcie ordered a replacement leg. Final repair and leveling went uneventfully. We received an invoice for the work performed. There was no charge for the unused burner (the wrong part they initially ordered that didn't include an igniter), but we noticed a charge for "Return service". I went in and asked about it, and to my dismay, Marcie was much less than helpful. She indicated that this was somehow my fault because they ordered the wrong part. She accused me of a misdiagnosis, and that she ordered the wrong part because of the photo I sent her. (See attached). My whole first conversation with her on the phone was about an igniter failure, and I was being charged for "return service" of a burner that was ordered? The "Return service" was removed--and I paid the remaining invoice. We shall never return to Henry's Electric for any purpose. Unfortunately, they are only 1.5 miles from my house, but I'd rather travel to Springfield, Pittsfield, or Albany to get appliances or service. There is a certain level of service expected when purchasing high end appliances, and in 6 years, we haven't seen that level using Henry's. One star rating because I could not submit ZERO stars.
Henry's was called to service a Bertazzoni range for my client in Ashfield, MA. Even though they were given the correct address for the service date, on the day of service they showed up to the wrong address that was associated with my cell phone. When I expressed frustration that this had happened despite confirming the address ahead of time, Jean was unfriendly, rude, and said that they would no longer service my client because she was too far away. It was a really terrible experience overall, and their prices are far too steep relative to the quality of customer service they provide.
I could not be happier or more satisfied with my experience working with Henry’s Electric. Our sales rep, Camryn, was able to show us similar appliances to the GE range and side by side refrigerator that we were looking for. Then she helped us order the ones we had our hearts set on. It took only two weeks to deliver the appliances. Willie and Dave were our installers and they were professional and friendly and knew what they were doing. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong buying from Henry’s Electric!
I purchased a MIELE dishwasher from Henry's Electric in Lee, MA recently (September of 2025). My sales associate Sue was very helpful and knowledgeable. The MIELE dishwasher was delivered today and installed along with the removal of my old dishwasher. The technicians from Henry's Electric were professional, courteous and polite. They cleaned up every spec of dust and removed all debris and boxes after the installation. This, in addition to their level of electrical and plumbing epertise related to the installation was above and beyond. They also installed a large under the kitchen cabinet microwave. Awesome customer service and down to earth home-town people. Thank you all. I will be back in the spring to purchase additional appliances from Henry's Electric in Lee, Massachusetts. Kind Regards, Mike P.
We recently had Henry’s replace/hang/install several light fixtures in our house. None of it was straightforward, but the electricians at the house worked very hard to make sure that it was not only done safely, but was aesthetically pleasing as well. Also, they weren’t afraid to offer suggestions which we really appreciated. Since they do this every day and we never do this sort of thing, their input was very valuable to us. We felt as though it was a team effort. The work was meticulous and the cleanup was, too. Will absolutely use again!
