High Power Masonry is Pablo Ramos's crew, working out of Saugus across the Boston suburbs. What they build is hardscape — retaining walls, stone staircases, patios, walkways and steps — with landscaping and snow work alongside it, and the company says it has been at this for over ten years with free estimates and service in English and Spanish. The stonework is what customers describe in detail. A November 2025 customer had a retaining wall, a parking area and front steps built and wrote that neighbours still stop to comment on it. Another that month listed several projects over a few years: a new porch, a front door, driveway paving, foundation work and a retaining wall. A third had a rock wall built in October 2025, and an August 2026 customer had shed foundation prep and matching front and rear stone staircases done, with touch-up work still going. People keep saying the same thing about getting hold of him. One homeowner called three companies about plowing two years ago; Pablo was at the house ten minutes later with a price and the others never called back, and he has handled the plowing and landscaping since. An April 2026 customer said he was the only one of five landscaping companies to call back, quote and start. A Thumbtack customer in March 2026 said he arrived on time, knew what was wanted and gave both a price and a start date. For a retaining wall, steps, a patio or a walkway in Newton, Brookline, Lexington and the towns around them, this is a strong call — and the same crew can take the lawn and the plowing.
