Hoffman Energy

I honestly can’t recommend Hoffman Energy enough. We were left without heat for a whole week after a previous contractor completely butchered our water heater install and ghosted us. ​Kenya in customer service was incredibly helpful when I first called, and Jill in dispatch scrambled to get a team to my house first thing Monday morning. ​The techs, Rich and Rick, worked as a team were fantastic. They took one look at the mess in the basement and completely turned it around. Their plumbing work and electric is is straight, clean, and properly done. They fixed the messed-up wiring, got the boiler running right, and now the whole system is running and we finally have our heat and hot water back. ​It is rare to find a company you can completely trust, but these guys earned it. Huge thank you to the whole team. Thank you for your help and all being such professionals. Again, so rare in today's world.

I called in for maintenance/service assistance, Sasha handled all my requests, set up all my appointments in one call. Very well done!

Just wanted to give A shout out to Hoffman Fuel, and two of their employees they were so amazingly, nice and helpful, their names are Nick and Peter. They were at my home and they were very helpful and every which way please give a shout out to them and tell them how wonderful they were thank you

I have used Hoffman for several years for oil and service at my commercial location in New Milford. I stopped using their oil delivery a few years back, because I felt they were charging me for more than what was delivered. I ended up installing a wifi monitor on my tank to confirm something was off. What they reported was delivered, vs what my tank said on the monitor was never the same, I eventually stopped using their oil delivery. Their service department always seems out to make a buck, and doesn't look out for your best interest. I confirmed this again this year, and switched my service contract to Murphy Heating and cooling. They were literally half the price, and they recommended I stop using an unnecessary $2k part Hoffman has said I needed AGAIN, after they installed this part 3 years ago and told me it burned out and I needed to replace it again. I also prepaid my yearly service contract each year quarterly with Hoffman. When I changed my service contract to Murphy Heating, Hoffman said sorry, even though you prepaid $500 towards your contract for 2025, and we didn't service you yet, we're not issuing a refund. You never do right by your customers, and that's why you lost my business. Zero stars

I have had the worst experience ever!!! I was remodeling my house and had Hoffman supply the oil because that what the previous owner used. My plan was to stay with them. First three month paid over $3k in oil being unaware that they went to refill the oil tank. At that time the house was unoccupied due to construction. Told them to put a hold until we finish the construction because we were switching to propane. I received several threatening emails saying to re-start the service. My house is still not done and they charges me $625.33 for breaking a contract that ended in November of 2024. This company does not care about customers! I will start looking for a new company for my propane. This is very unethical from their part! Stay away from this company! -
