In a December 2025 review a homeowner described a large structural ceiling update in the middle of an occupied house, taken from demolition through finishing in a matter of days and kept contained to a small area. A 2023 client described removing a french door and ten feet of load-bearing wall and replacing it with a sixteen-foot wall of glass including a seven-foot slider, and credited Dave with catching red flags on the engineer the window manufacturer had recommended. Another 2023 review described the crew demoing a neglected 1980s condo down to the studs and rebuilding it — insulation, drywall, flooring, kitchen cabinets, doors and trim, two pocket doors and paint — while coordinating with the plumber, electrician and tile installers. Two things to sort out before calling. The listed service area runs the inner suburbs north and west of Boston — Cambridge, Somerville, Arlington, Lexington, Newton, Waltham — so confirm they come to your town. And the credentials are stated inconsistently: Houzz lists a BBB Accredited Business award, while the BBB profile itself says the business is not accredited, though it carries an A+ rating there. Houzz also lists Lead Safe Certified Contractor and BPI Building Analyst Professional, and the company's own site states a Phius Certified Builder credential. For finish carpentry, built-ins, decks and fencing, or window and door replacement in an older house, this is a well-documented, registry-verified small crew — worth a call if you sit inside its stated coverage.
