I can’t thank Joel & Lisa enough! To say our pool was, and still can be, a doozy would be an understatement. Eight years ago, we moved into a house with a massive inground pool and absolutely zero information about it. We had a large pool company open and close it for us, but they didn’t really do much beyond that, nor did they give us an accurate pool size for calculating chemicals. Long story short, we were constantly struggling to keep the pool clean and balanced. Then our family experienced a medical emergency, and the pool went completely untouched for two years. By the time we were able to look at it again, it was a full-blown swamp. We honestly thought our only option was to drain it. Then I found Joel & Lisa. They gave us the actual tools and knowledge we needed to get our pool back up and running. They took the time to determine the actual size and gallon capacity of our pool and helped us get the right filter for its size. The difference has been incredible! They’re always available when I have a question, and thanks to their guidance, our pool has never been easier to take care of. What once felt completely overwhelming is now something we can actually manage and enjoy. I truly wouldn’t trust anyone else with our pool. I purchased new home that came with a pool. I have never had a pool before and had no idea how to take care of one. Joel and Lisa with Image Pools were fantastic in opening my pool and teaching me how to maintain it. I highly recommend Image Pools! The entire experience has been fantastic!!

After first discussing our project in fall of 2024, we met with Joel and Lisa for an on-site visit in mid-April of this year and were initially hopeful based on this interaction. At that time, we were told we were the second project in line for the summer, which gave us confidence that things would move forward in a timely manner. At their direction, we drained our pool and excavated around it to prepare for the project — a major step we took in good faith based on their guidance. That decision has now left us in a difficult predicament, as the project was never followed through. We completely understand that weather was a challenge this year, and we were more than willing to be flexible. However, clear communication and proper planning could still have been happening during that time. Instead, over the course of several months, we were given vague updates, shifting timelines, and ongoing promises without any real commitment or clarity. To make matters worse, we've since seen a review indicating that other, more last-minute jobs were taken on and completed during the time we were supposedly "next in line." After nearly four months of delays and uncertainty, they finally backed out of the project this week — wasting our time, delaying our plans, and leaving us with a drained, partially excavated pool and no clear path forward. This lack of professionalism and transparency is unacceptable. If you're looking for a contractor who values your time and communicates honestly, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

This summer we would've been lost without Joel and Lisa. Their care and attention to detail have been unparalleled - we have been so fortunate to have them work with us to replace our liner, troubleshoot a previous leak, and teaching us to care for our pool. We first connected with Joel and Lisa to take over the maintenance of our pool, we were excited to partner with them to care for our pool, as we've heard amazing things from others that use them. Right after opening the pool, our pool liner broke (through no fault of Joel and Lisa - due to age of the liner). Joel was at our house within 45 minutes of discovering the leak. In the pouring rain, Joel waded into the 58 degree water - in effort to patch the leak, trying any avenue he could. When it didn't work, Joel and Lisa worked tirelessly to research and connect us with the correct people to get a new liner installed. After they installed the new liner (on July 4th no less!), we discovered an additional leak (again due to age of the equipment) and Joel and Lisa put a great amount of effort - often into nights and on weekends - to discover the problem. Throughout the very stressful process, Joel and Lisa have managed to put our minds at ease and been such a wealth of information for us as we learn how to care for our pool going forward.
