The most telling thing anyone has written about Indian Fence LLC is about money. In a September 2022 review, a Haverhill-area customer said a post job turned out bigger than quoted, that he intended to honor the original price anyway, and that she paid him more rather than let him take the loss. That is a small story, but it is the kind homeowners remember. The company works out of Haverhill and installs vinyl, aluminum, chain link and wood fencing, plus repairs on the same, and says it runs year round through most weather conditions. Alongside fences it lists mailboxes, flag poles, arbors, non-electric signs, light posts and granite posts — the range of a small operator who will set almost anything in the ground. The written record is short and it is old. Two reviews exist, both from 2022, and they carry a 5.0 average on Angi and HomeAdvisor — the same two customers on two sites, not four. In the August 2022 one, a homeowner named an installer, Micah, and said he was patient, did what was expected, and circled back to check they were happy. Nothing has been written since, so there is no way to tell whether that is still how the work goes. A few practical things are worth knowing up front. The company tells Angi it gives free estimates but offers no warranties and does no emergency work — so a storm-damaged fence on a Sunday is not what they are set up for. Massachusetts exempts fencing-only contractors from home improvement contractor registration, so there is no state registration to look up here; ask instead for proof of liability insurance. For a straightforward residential fence in the Haverhill area, the two accounts that exist are good ones and both describe an owner who dealt fairly. Just treat the record as four years old: ask for a couple of recent local references and get the estimate and the price-change terms in writing before work starts.
He was great. He quoted the job but it took him longer than expected because the post was a larger job than originally thought. He was going to honor the original price but I paid him more because he would have taken a huge loss. He was fantastic!
Micah did an excellent job on our new fence! He was patient, did what was expected and circled back around to make sure we where happy. I’d hire him again.
