International Home Improvement LLC

A roof inspection that turns up storm damage, an insurance claim handled for the homeowner, and a new roof — that is the job several of International Home Improvement's 2026 Google reviewers describe. The Beacon Falls company does roofing, gutters, siding and remodeling, and reviewers name Julio and Maria; a 2025 reviewer called Julio the owner. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0656563, is active, held by International Home Improvement LLC. Recent customers write in detail about the insurance work. In a June 2026 review, a homeowner said Julio Loja inspected their 20-year-old roof, helped with the paperwork and dealt directly with the insurance adjuster; the crew covered plants, a pergola and the deck with tarps and swept the yard with magnets for nails. An October 2026 reviewer said the team advocated with their insurer, and a September 2026 customer said a free inspection found storm damage they would never have known about, with no sales pressure. In August 2026, a homeowner said Maria and Julio's crew replaced their roof and coordinated removing and reinstalling solar panels on the timeline they gave. A Thumbtack reviewer that month said the crew came the same day when a roof leak reached the living room ceiling. The winter brought different work. In February 2026, several Google and Thumbtack reviewers described snow and blizzard cleanup done the same day they called; one New Britain customer said the crew sent before and after photos. A February 2026 reviewer had drywall and paint repaired after an ice dam. Earlier, a June 2024 review described a kitchen renovation with cabinets, tile floor, backsplash and countertops. In a March 2026 1-star Thumbtack review, a customer said the company came for an estimate, then never came or responded when they called to hire. It holds 5 stars from 49 Google ratings and 4.7 from 35 on Thumbtack, with written reviews from 2023 to 2026.
