Negative stars if that was an option!! Do not hire!!!! What a tool!! Jim is as shady as they come. Totally been had by this scumbag. Ripped me off by thousands of dollars. When he presented his overinflated quote to me, I told him I needed to think about it, he was pissed!! He was intimidating me in my own house!!!! He was really mad and determined not to leave until he got a huge deposit from me. I was wicked nervous and uncomfortable, because I was alone in my house with this monster. Looking back now, he was trespassing, he was committing a crime because I wanted him to leave my house and he wouldn’t. I should have called the police and had him arrested. It was that bad. I gave him the deposit just to get him out of my face. Doesn’t he cash the check before the ink dries. So I went forward with the job since he had half my life savings. His guys came to paint my house, THREE MONTHS LATER, not bad until I noticed some sloppy areas, and streak marks where I can see the original paint color. Paint on my wood floors. Missed a huge spot on the exterior of my house. I had to paint it myself because there is no way in hell I’ll ever contact this d-bag again. Paint drops on my paver walkway. Wonder what else I’ll find wrong. Just to really send it home. I did some research on Jim. Not only is he not a member of the Better Business Bureau as he claims on his website, he had a significant complaint against him with the BBB, eerily similar to my experience. Shop around for other painters. There are plenty, way better and honest workers out there. I learned the hard way and hopefully can save any readers from a years worth of stress and sleepless nights.
