J Witkowsky & Sons Tree Service takes down trees, grinds stumps and prunes, and it shows 4.8 stars on Google from 179 ratings. The company says it has been in business 31 years. When a tree fell on one customer's house in a storm at night, they arrived within an hour to assess the damage and removed the tree in 2 hours the next morning. A customer with a huge hickory tree where a cherry picker could not be used safely said Josh climbed it and cut off the limbs while the team guided them down by ropes so they would not hit the shed or home. When a microburst on the fourth of July brought down over a handful of trees on one property, the team removed nearly a dozen trees and ground several stumps in only a few hours, that customer said. One customer had two massive oak trees pruned and said they cleaned up even the acorns. A customer said they got a cat out of a tree that had been up there a week and refused to take a dime. A recent customer gave 2 stars, saying the crew that showed up had no understanding of the plan agreed to with the owner.
