JCS Remodeling

Jeff and Chris run an incredible company. They’re reliable, professional, hardworking, and genuinely care about the quality of their work! From start to finish, communication was great and everything was completed on time with attention to detail. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for dependable, high-quality work!

I had my remodel bathroom done yesterday. I absolutely love my bathroom. The water is hot again and have heat also. The work was completed in one day. If you need work done in your house I highly recommend this company.

I had water in my basement and The owner and his team came in did a knockout job

We hired JCS Remodeling to do our bathroom/bedroom renovation. Jeff and his team were AMAZING! Start to finish the project was perfect, we could not be happier with how it turned out. Jeff and his team worked with respect and professionalism across the board. They truly cared for our home and the project and had no problem giving their opinions when I asked for them. We have an older home with only one full bathroom on the main floor and no “master suite” so we wanted to completely change the layout of our house. When Jeff and his partner Chris came to quote us on the project I was immediately sold. They had so much vision! At every point of the conversation they listened to what we wanted and spent so much time bouncing ideas with us. It seemed like they were just as excited about the project as we were. Scope: a complete gut and remodel of the existing bathroom, reframed the bathroom to make it larger, removed a load bearing wall and redistributed the load, added two pocket doors plus a second entrance off the new bedroom, rebuilt our linen closest inside the bathroom, added baseboards to the bedroom, redid the bedroom and hallway ceilings, seamlessly fixed the part of the floor where the wall came down (and even two that were there since we bought the house), repainted the hall and the bedroom. In addition to all of that, along the way when they noticed something in our house (ex: janky plumbing, bent closet door track, DIY debris in our basement, even patching a hole in our powder room upstairs we had never fixed from some previous electrical work) they offered to take care of it so that we would have a completely brand new space! I unfortunately didn’t catch everyones names, but I want to specifically shout out Dave for his beautiful trim work, Chris and Jeff for laying the tile so beautifully and intentionally, taking the extra time to line up the marbling from tile to tile. Also the electrician for adding what my husband told me was an insane amount of dimmers/switches to our lights, and the plumber Zach for how thorough and precise his work was. The cost was reasonable for the scope and quality of the work, and was accurate to the quote. Yes, it was expensive, but it was clearly stated and the price felt fair. We ended up tacking on a few extra things along the way and Jeff was very upfront about those costs. They were on time and right to work every day. Even with the snowstorm, Jeff and his team still managed to get everything done only one day later than planned, it was amazing! Worth every penny. With any construction project you will still have some cleanup to do when you get back into your space, but Jeff and his team cleaned up after themselves on a daily basis, some days even dusting/vacuuming. They were so respectful of our home. They even have a cleaning company they work with who quoted a very reasonable price to clean the floors and windows post construction, but we opted to do it ourselves. We did see a review before we started saying that communication could be better, but we did not find that to be the case for the most part. Jeff was responsive to our questions and kept us updated when an update was needed. Sometimes the response was not immediate but I think that is to be expected. After all, you want your contractor focused on the work and not their phone! Throughout the entire project, Jeff and his team treated our home and our time with care and respect. We and all of our local family will be recommending them to anyone looking to have professionals tackle their home projects, and we will definitely be using them again in the future!!
