JEM Woodworking builds custom cabinetry. On its website the company describes its work as handcrafted cabinetry tailored to a client's personal style and functional needs. A 2024 Houzz customer said Kelly worked with them through every detail of their kitchen and mudroom and recommended where to place certain appliances and types of cabinets. That 2024 customer also said the delivery and installation were completed on schedule, and that JEM followed up to make minor adjustments. A 2024 Google customer named Kelly and Pawel and said the design and functionality of their kitchen were worth every penny. A 2022 Google customer wrote that JEM understood their vision for the kitchen and came up with several innovative suggestions. In a 2017 Houzz review, a customer said JEM handled the design and build-out of their kitchen, accommodated a tight schedule and came to address issues even though the project was far from its headquarters. A 2016 Houzz review came from an architecture firm that said it had worked with JEM on numerous projects and called its prices highly competitive. In a 2014 review, an interior designer said JEM's kitchen designer interpreted the design concept and made small revisions along the way. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0553494, as expired, held by J E M Woodworking.

Working with JEM was the best decision we made during our renovation. From the incredibly customer service, to the STUNNING beautiful result, we truly couldn't be happier. Kelly, Pawel, and the whole JEM team went above and beyond and was so responsive and helpful during this entire process. Our kitchen is perfect. The attention to detail in terms of the design, and functionality of the space is worth every penny. You will not be disappointed!!

We had a wonderful experience working with JEM and are so incredibly pleased with how our kitchen and mudroom turned out. Kelly worked with us through every little detail and had great ideas and suggestions along the way. She was also very responsive and patient in working through our iterations - we had many! - and answering our questions. Her recommendations for the placement of certain appliances and various types of cabinets made our kitchen truly functional for our family. In addition to the planning, the delivery and installation was completed on-schedule, and we are so happy with the quality of the cabinetry. JEM was also reliable in following up to make minor adjustments and to ensure everything worked smoothly to a tee. Highly recommend JEM, ask for Kelly!

JEM worked with me on the design and build out of my kitchen. It was a very positive experience from beginning to end. They accommodated my tight schedule, they had fantastic suggestions for shelving and space issues, the workmanship is top notch and the price a real value. In addition they came to address issues despite the fact that my project was far from their head quarters. I have had other renovations done over the year and have never had as good an experience.
