JFC Pros

Deck replacements have brought serious complaints about JFC Pros, alongside customers describing completed renovations and structural repairs. In a November 2025 Google review, a deck customer said they terminated their contract and lost money after delays, disputed material orders, and concerns about workmanship. They said demolition began before permits were obtained and described an initial 40% payment followed by a request for another 40%. The Massachusetts registry verified home improvement contractor registration 189223 as suspended in August 2026, with JFC Services Inc. as the holder. JFC Pros separately advertises an unrestricted construction supervisor license; that website statement is a self-reported credential. JFC Pros operates from Northborough and advertises general contracting, design, commercial and new construction, and detached ADU builds across Massachusetts. Residential customers have described kitchen and basement renovations, ADUs, porches, siding, and repairs. In a November 2025 review, a homeowner described a Northborough ADU completed in 2023 with an independent apartment, storage, and access ramps, saying the work remained in working order. A January 2026 reviewer described a basement remodel with custom cabinetry, storage, a tankless system replacing an old boiler, and relocation of the mechanical room to create more usable space. Recent customers have described smaller projects too. An April 2026 homeowner said JFC repaired their house and deck after snow-related damage, with two workers completing the work in one week. A May 2026 carport customer praised orderly work, competitive pricing, and handling of permits and inspections. In July 2026, another customer described kitchen-remodel preparation, appliance and countertop removal, and painting of walls, ceilings, and trim. The earlier complaints remain substantial. An October 2024 Houzz reviewer said a deck job contracted in July 2023 dragged on for eight months, involved a 60% upfront payment, damaged boards, and pergola materials that never arrived; they said they sought legal representation and filed a state complaint. A December 2023 Houzz reviewer reported a porch, ramp, and walkway project that began in April remained incomplete in December, with hazardous conditions and no front-door access for a month. A March 2026 Google reviewer reported a missed consultation with no call. Google showed 4.8 stars from 39 ratings in August 2026, while Houzz showed 3.9 from seven and Thumbtack 4.6 from 25. In a January 2023 Thumbtack review, a customer described an attached cinderblock shed renovation with a wider door, windows, handrails, and storage, completed within two weeks.
