Jim's Tree Service

Jim's Tree Service says it has served Monroe, Trumbull, Fairfield, Westport and the surrounding Fairfield County communities since 1970. On Google it holds 5 stars from 177 ratings. One recent customer said Jim's crew took down two large diseased beech trees from the front yard, working around the ornamentals and power lines while taking care not to damage the lawn. A recent customer said the crew removed four trees and pruned another, moved a mailbox and basketball hoop out of the way and put both back, and used mats under the equipment to protect the driveway and walkway. A recent customer said a large limb or two came down on the 4th of July, took out power and blocked the driveway, and they came out a couple hours after the call on a Sunday of the holiday weekend. A recent reviewer who has used them for over 25 years said they trim all of that customer's trees every other year. A 2023 customer said Anthony showed up with a crew of 5 at 7:30 AM for a job that included seven hickory trees, and they finished by 4:30 PM. A 2023 customer wrote that Anthony and his team helped identify solutions to preserve trees where possible. Scheduling is where one recent customer hit a snag: told to expect a call after leaving a deposit, that customer was never contacted until reaching out, and they arrived to cut the tree 5 weeks later when they had availability.
