Joe's Stump Grinding does one job: stumps. A recent Google customer said Joe ground a stump of about 36 inches in diameter down below grade, and the whole visit took less than 40 minutes from arrival to departure. A recent customer said Joe estimated about two and a half hours for five stumps, finished just under that time and cleared the driveway of debris before leaving. A recent customer said Joe removed 10 stumps from their property in less than 2 hours, with little to no cleanup left for them. A recent customer said Joe ground the roots as well as the stump. Quoting is simple on one recent customer's account: Joe asked for pictures of the stumps with a tape measure on top and gave a price within 10 minutes. A recent customer who requested three quotes said Joe asked details about the job and discussed different options, then cleaned up after his machine. A recent customer found the business through its sign in a yard in the Groton area. A 2025 customer said Joe ground down two massive stumps for half of what another company quoted for one, with the stumps gone by Monday morning after a Friday call. A 2023 customer said Joe ground 8 stumps on a property full of ledge and boulders while preserving the lawn.

I saw Joe’s Stump Grinding business sign in someone’s yard in the Groton area. I looked at his reviews and pics of his work online, so I called and he scheduled our appointment within a few days. Joe is very personable, friendly, and professional. When he arrived, he explained the process, answered any questions I had and got right to work. We are very satisfied with the job he did and are so happy to have that huge stump gone. Thanks Joe
