Could not recommend less. John inspected our home when he was with his previous firm, Prochek. We hired him to inspect our home before purchase, and the experience has been a costly disaster. Since moving in, we’ve uncovered over $150,000 in repairs and multiple code violations — all things that should have been identified during a competent inspection. It’s clear he either lacked the knowledge or attention to detail to do the job properly. Major electrical hazards, HVAC and plumbing violations were missed entirely. His report gave us false confidence that the home was in solid condition, when in reality it was anything but. We trusted his professional judgment and have paid a steep price for that mistake. I would not recommend John Keating to anyone looking for a reliable or thorough home inspector.
