“Anthony Oliveira, with John J. Brennan Construction Company based in Shelton, smoothes the drying concrete that will become the base to a power station for plug-in vehicles at the newly opened Darien-North rest area between exits 12 and 13 along Interstate 95 northbound on Thursday, June 6, 2013.”
“The family-run company has a long history of success — 120 years. Its areas of expertise are extremely diverse, including site construction, demolition, heavy highway and utility infrastructure work that includes construction and repairs of water, sewer and electric.”
Tri-axle number 325 is driving his 30,000 truck through traffic like it’s a tank on Route 8 today, July 1, 2026. Highway is closed and he is pushing his way through cars to get off the exit. Cutting people off, squeezing between cars with not a second thought about hitting them, and tailgating within 2 feet of cars while doing 30mph. Get this guy off the road before he kills someone. He didn’t care one bit about your name plastered on all sides of his truck. Such a poor and dangerous representation of your company.
The “temporary” street repairs in front of my house are failing. They did a bit of cleanup but not repairing. This has been a problem all winter and now into spring. I’m told the street will not be repaved until August. Disappointed and very upset. Southington has terrible municipal services
I truly appreciate the attention and responsiveness shown in addressing my concern. After feeling unheard elsewhere, it was incredibly refreshing to connect with someone (Linda) who not only listened carefully but also took prompt action. That level of professionalism and follow-through makes a real difference. It’s rare to encounter a company who genuinely takes ownership and leads by example. I highly recommend using Brennan Construction!!!
They have the most unprofessional drivers they are rude and Bullies on the road they have a street sweeper whoever was driving this sweeper drove by people's cars that were parked on the side of the road kicked up this nasty yuck all over them when he could have shut the brushes down until he passed the cars that were parked there. Then he wouldn't let any one cross at the cross walk wouldn't slow down made people rush across because he didn't want to stop bottom line they have no consideration or respect for anyone's property
Great company to work with and one of the most knowledgeable construction companies in Connecticut, especially for large complex jobs.
