Johnny's Stump Grinding & More

More than 30 stumps in one day: a July 2025 Google reviewer says John handled small and large stumps across the full job, gave a quick on-site estimate and kept in touch by text. Johnny's Stump Grinding & More focuses on stump grinding throughout the upper Cape. The company identifies Johnny Castleberry as its owner/operator, says he started the business in 2012, and describes itself as veteran-owned and first-responder-owned. HomeAdvisor places the business in North Falmouth. Customers have described work on both large stumps and awkward locations. A June 2022 repeat customer said John had dealt with stumps over 50 inches in diameter and as small as three inches, praising fair estimates and timeliness. In a June 2023 Angi review, a customer described a difficult stump close to an asphalt driveway and a gas line. They said the grinding and cleanup were handled well, the price was reasonable and communication before the work was good. A March 2023 reviewer described large, tangled stumps along a garden edge, saying Johnny completed the job in one morning for the price he had quoted. Several dated accounts describe scheduling around the customer's plans. In September 2023, an Angi reviewer said Johnny came early so stump removal could be coordinated with a fence installation. Another reviewer that month said John acted promptly on a small project because it was time-sensitive for other planned work. A June 2022 Google customer said they spoke directly with John, walked through the proposed work, received a price and date, and were charged the quoted amount when he arrived as promised. Google lists a five-star average from 18 ratings. Angi and HomeAdvisor each list five stars from 37 ratings. In an October 2024 Angi review, a customer praised timely follow-up after the initial inquiry, the estimate process and communication through completion. A Google customer writing in April 2025 said the work left their yard clean and stump-free.
