Joseph T Cazeault & Sons

Joseph T Cazeault & Sons has been putting roofs on South Shore buildings since Joseph T. Cazeault started the business in North Weymouth in 1927. The company says it is now in the fifth generation of the Cazeault family and counts 98 years in business, working out of Hingham for residential and commercial customers across Eastern Massachusetts. What separates it from most roofers is the metal side: it fabricates sheet metal as well as installing roofs, which is the kind of shop you want for copper, flashing and custom trim work. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #101582, is active on the state registry, and the Better Business Bureau grades the company A+. On Google it sits at 3.9 across 7 ratings. One thing to raise on the call: osha.gov lists an inspection of Joseph T. Cazeault & Sons, Inc. with its case status closed. Ask what it involved and how the company handled it. For a roof where the metal details matter — copper work, custom flashing, a slate or specialty job — this is a shop with the fabrication side in-house. Get the scope in writing, including deck repairs, flashing and tear-off disposal, and ask for a few recent residential jobs nearby you can look at.
