JP Pest Services

JP Pest Services is a pest and wildlife control company whose website lists a service area running from Portsmouth, Rye, New Castle and Greenland out to Dover, Durham, Hudson, Milford and Laconia. The company says it has been in business 101 years. On Google it holds 4.9 stars from 230 ratings. One customer saw a few carpenter ants inside after a wasp and ant perimeter treatment, and Dave came out to put gel in spots inside the house and spray the perimeter. A customer with ground wasps in the yard, which were not part of the dwelling contract, says Dave treated them anyway for the family's safety. Cas came out for mice sightings inside one house and was described as thorough and clear about the service. A customer of about seven years says they normally come five times a year and fit in ground hornets at no additional cost. One customer describes an initial inspection and treatment, a return two weeks later, and re-treatment of a couple of areas still showing slight activity. Dave texted 30 minutes ahead and stopped back before leaving to report his findings, one customer writes. In a 2026 review, a customer said Cas checked buried outside boxes in the snow and got a ladder to check the attic. A customer who had JP Pest inspect their parents' home for rodents before a sale says it set bait traps and found no further activity on a follow-up, but an inspection after an offer produced pictures of dead rodents and droppings in the attic, and the offer was pulled. That customer says JP Pest explained it does not do eradication, only inspecting and placing traps. A 2025 customer said holes were sealed without first removing mice from the walls, and the house smelled of dead mice. A 2025 reviewer who said they had been a customer for over a decade wrote that ants came inside every spring for three years and that a call for a return visit was met with a wait of weeks.
