A 2026 customer needed 3 large trees removed and the stumps ground, and said JTE & Company came out the same day with an estimate. Tree removal is the core of the business: the company describes itself as specializing in climbing and hazardous tree removal, pruning and cabling repairs, and says it has been in business 25 years. Its website lists a service area that includes Oxford, Worcester, Auburn, Sutton, Webster and other nearby towns. On Google it holds 5 stars from 9 ratings. A recent customer said Josh cut about six trunks from one tree and laid them down between their fence and the neighbor's fence with no damage; it was that customer's second time hiring the company, which also pruned two trees. A 2026 customer said Josh came out twice on short notice right after storms to assess damage and make a plan, and described the team removing a very large pine tree close to surrounding structures. In a 2025 review, a customer said Josh came over on short notice to assess a downed pine tree and his crew removed multiple trees in 1 day. A 2026 customer said another company quoted significantly more for the same job, and that the yard was left clean after the trees came down. The work goes beyond trees. A 2026 customer said Josh arrived hours after a morning call, removed all the ice dams, cleared out the gutters and patched a small hole in the skylight flashing. A 2026 customer said Josh handled an emergency ice dam removal that a ladder could not reach in 2 hours.
