Kane Tree Service is a tree company that describes itself as family-owned and says it specializes in climbing and ornamental tree pruning, with free estimates offered on its website. A recent Google reviewer called it "Kane Tree out of Cumberland." One recent customer had a cat stuck 30 feet up a tree on a Sunday afternoon, called multiple tree companies and the fire department, and no one answered or wanted to help. John answered right away and came to help after driving two hours home from a family trip. When John took down a tree for one recent customer, that customer wrote that every cut was "thoughtful and controlled." John and his crew cut back trees from a customer's fence line, and that customer called the price reasonable. After a decent-size limb fell on one customer's roof and a large limb landed on their fence, John came and quoted a fair price. John also cut a large pine tree at one customer's house, and that customer said he was on time, professional and honest.
