**WARNING: BUYER BEWARE** I rarely write reviews, and I do so reluctantly. However, I feel compelled to share my experience in the hope that it helps others make an informed decision before hiring this company. When we first hired KGJ Fence, everything seemed to go well. They started and completed the installation on time, and we paid the balance in full. Unfortunately, the problems began after the project was paid for. We had fencing installed along both sides of our house, extending to the property line. The fence was designed for privacy and aesthetics rather than enclosing the entire yard. One side is a short picket fence, while the other is a taller privacy fence with a double gate. The fence was installed last fall, and everything appeared to be fine until after the winter. In early spring, I opened the double gate and discovered that when I tried to close it, the two gates rubbed together so severely that I had to use significant force just to latch them. This caused the hardware to scrape against the vinyl, leaving visible damage to the vinyl and hardware. When I inspected the fence, I discovered that several posts were not securely set in concrete. Whether concrete was never used or was improperly mixed, I cannot say, but the posts were clearly not stable. I immediately called and texted the owner but received no response. After weeks of trying to reach him, I finally received a reply only after mentioning that I was considering leaving a review. I was told someone would come out the following day to inspect the problem, but no one showed up. After several more weeks of repeated unanswered calls and texts, the owner eventually came to inspect the fence. He acknowledged that multiple mistakes had been made and said the fence would need to be shortened slightly to allow the gate to function properly. He also said they would: * Reset the loose posts in concrete. * Move one of the posts. * Glue the post caps, which had simply been placed on top rather than secured. (When the caps were removed, we also found trash stuffed inside some of the posts.) He told us this work would be completed later that week. Once again, no one showed up, and I had to spend weeks calling and texting before they finally returned. When a worker eventually arrived, he was unaware that he was supposed to reset the posts with concrete or glue the caps on the other section of fencing. Rather than making the repairs the owner had described, he used straps to pull the fence into position and told me that although the owner had specifically instructed him *not* to use that method, he believed it was the best approach. The straps were removed almost immediately after repositioning the post, and while the gate did close when he left, I questioned whether the repair would last. The worker also told me he would return the following day to repair the second loose post because he had run out of concrete. He also planned to adjust the gate on the other side of the house and glue the remaining post caps. He never returned. Just a few days later, I opened the gate again, and once again it would not close properly. Since then, I have continued calling and texting, but the problem remains unresolved. If your only priority is having a fence installed quickly, this company may meet your expectations. However, if you value quality workmanship, proper installation, and a company that stands behind its work and honors its warranty, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

We have no problem with the fence itself, however we have had problems with all gates from day one. We were told multiple times that they would be fixed and have not. All the screw are falling out and doors are dragging. We tried to be patient but it’s become clear we are not a priority. We have a son with special needs, having a secure area is essential for his safety.

We hired Jim and KGJ fence to install a fence around an existing pond in our back yard to keep our kids away from the water. We still wanted the view but needed the safety of the fence. Kgj fence did exactly what we asked, Jim was very responsive, and the price was unmatched. We are so happy with the final product and feel so much safer when our kids are playing in the yard.

KGJ installed my fence 1 year ago. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this company. The original installation of the fence was decent. However, the gate is uneven so I asked Jim to come out and fix it. Jim said on multiple occasions he would send someone out, but still hasn't. Very disappointed in Jim and KGJ.

It’s really unfortunate because I liked Jimmy and his team and they did a good job on my Pool fence. However, when I had him return to place a vinyl privacy fence along my driveway, I contacted him afterwards to tell him that the fence was too low and touching the ground and needed to be lifted to allow for drainage from my driveway. Also one of the posts caps was tilted up against my house. Initially he responded with texts and came out once asking him to give us two weeks, but months went by and then he completely ignored us. I ended up using another company to remove the fence. Sometimes you get what you pay for and the cheapest guy isn’t always the best……
