Its BBB grade is A+, and it holds 2.8 stars from 14 Google ratings. In 2023, that customer wrote that when they called about the issue, he said he couldn't come out until the end of the week or the following week due to surgery, then never called them back, and the problem was fixed by another company. A 2022 reviewer wrote, "Catch him on a bad day and look out."

We were referred to KRT by our oil company and I not only will not recommend but actually will not get oil from the company who referred him. The reviews would have been enough to deter me had I read them prior to scheduling with him. We spent a good deal of money to replace a piece he said was broken that was not. In addition; he charged us to service our boiler and replace a piece that continued to misfire after he replaced it. When we called to tell him the issue he told us he didn’t understand what the problem was and couldn’t come out until the end of the week or the following week due to surgery. This is prior to negative temperature weather. We gave him the time and the benefit of the doubt but he never called us back. We went through another company and the problem was fixed by someone else.
Catch him on a bad day and look out.
